Swordfish Computing's exciting new office plans
We have outgrown our humble home on King William Street in just one short year so we’ve taken the plunge to locate and fit out a new space.
We thought our current offices and location would be hard to beat. Fortunately we have found the ideal new abode, a whole top floor of an office building only a few hundred metres from our current location.
The space is currently a bare shell but it takes little imagination to see the potential. A floor plan and design specifications have been completed following a long period of consultation, negotiation and design iteration. Construction is now pending some final selections and the completion of the leasing documentation.
The new design boasts an increase from 12 to 30 workstations divided into two separate teaming areas, a large boardroom and generous second meeting room, a large and funky café breakout area with great views, two quiet rooms for those important private calls or escaping for some quiet thought, and a number of executive offices. For those who like to ride or exercise, we will have a dedicated change and shower room.
The whole floor plan is designed around the principle of dedicating views and natural light to our valued staff and VIP visitors. The design makes optimal use of the available space whilst also prioritizing privacy. The design colours and materials featuring timbers and laminates, along with numerous planters have all been chosen to promote an earthy relaxed and comfortable environment.
Needless to say, we’re all excited about the plans and are eagerly anticipating the move sometime between September and late October.
